Save Money by Knowing Lotto Numbers to Avoid
Lotto players who select their lottery numbers thoughtlessly or foolishly are destined to lose even before the drawing takes place.
By knowing which number combinations and patterns to avoid, youâll have an advantage over such playersâand save money, too.
AVOID NUMBER COMBINATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DRAWN BEFORE
Many players like to bet the numbers that have won someone else a big jackpot, and
by doing so, they are almost guaranteed NOT to win one themselves. In Daily Million,
with seven drawings a week, a set of 6 numbers has a chance of being drawn once
every 8,939 years!!! This should also answer the question we are so often asked,
“Shouldnât I keep playing the same set of numbers every week because they are due
to hit sometime?”
AVOID BETTING SIX CONSECUTIVE LOTTO NUMBERS
Six consecutive numbers have never been drawn in any state or international lotto game.
Smart Luck has all the drawing results for more than 190 state and international lottery games, going back more than fifty years!
Even five consecutive numbers is a very rare occurrence that, in most Lotto games, has never happened once.
AVOID BETTING ONE LOTTO NUMBER GROUP
Never choose all six numbers from one number group, such as all single digits, or
all teens, or all 20âs, etc. All six winning numbers drawn from one group is
highly unlikely.
AVOID THE LOTTO COMBINATION 1-2-3-4-5-6
The most popular set of numbers most often played is: 1-2-3-4-5-6. Thousands of
tickets are bought with this combination every drawing. The selection
is too far out of balance to come up in a random drawing.
AVOID PATTERN BETTING
Pattern betting
is an even more popular method of marking bet slips. Patterns of
numbers marked in a row to make a straight line, either across the bet slip
vertically or diagonally get heavy playâwhich means having to split the prize with
others if your numbers win the game. Other designs such as patterns of
initials or numbers or crosses also get heavy play.
AVOID NUMBER MULTIPLES
Other popular combinations that get heavy play are the number multiples, especially
5-10-15-20-25-30 and 7-14-21-28-35-42.
AVOID ALL SAME LAST DIGITS
Many people want to pick their lotto numbers with a single last digit, such as 3-13-23-33-43,
or all numbers that
end in seven, or another favorite lucky lottery number. Even four numbers with the same last digit occur
in less than two-tenths of one percent of all drawings. Winning lotto tickets with
three last digits the same occur in less than 3 percent of all drawings. Winning sets
of numbers with no more than one repeated last digit represent nearly 90 percent of all
drawings.
AVOID LOW NUMBER COMBINATIONS
The majority of Lotto players like to play the calendar numbers, such as birth
dates and anniversariesâand their childrenâs ages. This means that the most
heavily played numbers are 1 through 31. Daily Million has 39 numbers. If you play
only the calendar numbers, you might be sharing your jackpot with dozens of other
winners. Itâs not to say that you shouldnât play your personal numbers if you feel these lucky numbers are good to play. But we recommend that you include a couple of high
numbers so that just in case your numbers do hit, you win a prize thatâs worth
something.
NIX LOTTO QUICK PICKS
Quick Picks are used by lazy people who want to be in the action without putting
any effort into winning. When you read articles about jackpot winners, it appears
as though they all used either Quick Picks, birth dates, or their childrenâs ages.
The vast majority of people do play that way. If the majority of tickets sold are
Quick Picks, then it makes sense that the majority of jackpots won should be won
with Quick Picks. However, when you see the actual lotto statistics, as Gail Howard did, youâll find that you have
a better chance of winning by picking numbers randomly out of a hat than by using
Quick Picks.
Dale Farm travellers fighting eviction own multi-million pound housing estate back home in Ireland
- Saga blows apart travellersâ claims there is nowhere for them to go
- Basildon Borough Council paid housing benefits for some travellers directly to a landlord based at the estate
A builder living on Europeâs largest illegal traveller site is secretly backing a lavish 33-home property development in Ireland, it emerged yesterday.
Michael Quilligan, the son of a traveller worth ÂŁ24million, is among the 96 families who claim they will be made homeless when they are removed from Dale Farm in Essex.
However, planning records show that Mr Quilligan is the mastermind behind a multi-million-pound development in the town of Rathkeale, the spiritual home of travellers in the west of Ireland.
Under construction: The multi-million pound development of large detached homes in Rathkeale in the west of Ireland
The large detached and semi-detached houses – worth up to ÂŁ400,000 – are close to completion and are near to the local equivalent of millionaires’ row, where other substantial gated properties can be found.
Mr Quilligan is thought to have sold some of the properties to other travellers.
It is unclear whether Dale Farm residents are among the buyers but one local report yesterday claimed that a dozen of the families facing eviction have bought homes in Rathkeale.
Members of Basildon Council, which is responsible for clearing the Dale Farm site, are calling for an urgent investigation.
This latest twist in the saga blows apart the travellersâ claims that there is nowhere âculturally sensitiveâ for them to go if they are evicted.
Their links with Rathkeale â where around half of the townâs properties are owned by travellers â prove they have a perfect retreat in their native land.
Battle: Police will start to remove families from the Dale Farm site in Essex on Monday
It also emerged yesterday that Basildon Borough Council had paid housing benefits for some of the Dale Farm travellers directly to a landlord based in Rathkeale.
John Flynn, 55, bought the former scrapyard at Dale Farm for ÂŁ120,000 ten years ago and owns about five caravan pitches on the site.
The council admitted it paid money directly to Mr Flynn at an address in Rathkeale to cover the rent of his tenants, who were allowed to claim housing benefits, despite living on an illegal site.
Many of the homes in Rathkeale remain boarded up apart from a few months a year and at Christmas when a cavalcade of UK-registered Range Rovers, Mercedes, BMWs and Porsches roll into the town, pulling caravans behind them.
Extravagant traveller weddings and christenings in the local Roman Catholic church add to the carnival atmosphere over the Christmas period.
Defiant: Travellers living at the Dale Farm site in Essex have vowed to remain there
Mr Quilligan, a father of four, runs a business called Michael Quilligan Building Contractor and is the son of Rathkealeâs wealthiest traveller, Simon âSammy Buckshotâ Quilligan, an antiques dealer.
John Dornan, a Tory councillor in Essex, said: âI have long called for an inquiry into the funding of the site.
âThis new information needs to be looked at by the council to compare it with any homeless applications and housing benefits claims.
âI do not want to prejudice any investigation, but if any of the same people are involved, it would have huge implications.â
Dale Farm, built on green belt land near Basildon, came to the attention of planners around ten years ago when illegal plots started springing up around a smaller approved site.
Time to move: The Dale Farm site covers 52 plots and has a 400-strong community
Since then it has grown into a 400-strong community of travellers who have built roads and connections to electricity.
Bailiffs and police are planning to start removing travellers on the illegal camp from Monday after the council won a High Court battle to evict them.
Another traveller, Richard OâBrien â an uncle of Dale Farm spokesman Richard Sheridan but not from the site himself â is developing 44 houses near his home in Rathkeale, called the Castle Park estate.
A third housing estate of 18 properties, again linked to members of the Sheridan clan, is also thought to have been built.
Last night Mr Sheridan, who is president of the UK Gipsy Council, said: âThis is all rubbish. I wouldnât know anything about this.â
Len Gridley, 52, whose home backs on to the Dale Farm site, said: âThis proves it is not just about people with nowhere to go. People have been making money out of this by renting out illegal properties.’
Just what the doctor ordered! ROBERT HARDMAN examines new Covid-19 testing machines after Mail Force charity donates ÂŁ1m in lab equipment to keep hospital staff safe
ROBERT HARDMAN: To the untrained eye, it could be a photocopier with a few plastic trays on top. Except that you need to wear a gown, mask and gloves and enter a secure zone via two pressurised doors to access this particular piece of dull grey machinery (pictured main and bottom right). Covid-19 may be hell-bent on giving us a miserable autumn followed by a non-existent Christmas. But here at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool (pictured inset), staff are determined to keep things as normal as possible as the nights start to close in and the wards enter what one doctor calls âthe business monthsâ. And that, in turn, is entirely dependent on a fast, accurate system of testing (pictured top right) – not just for Covid-19 but for all respiratory viruses; and not just for patients but, just as importantly, for staff and those who live with them.

How close is the NHS to being âoverwhelmedâ? Just 1,800 out of 110,000 occupied beds are taken up by Covid-19 patients as thousands more than normal die at home of other causes
The most NHS recent snapshot – released three weeks ago – shows just 478 out of 110,000 beds in use were by Covid-19 patients on September 3. This has since risen to 1,883, according to Department of Health data. Health chiefs have yet to update the total beds occupied figure since but it barely changed over the summer. Even at the peak of the crisis in Britain, only a quarter of all beds were occupied by virus patients. On April 7, 26.5 per cent of the 67,206 people in Englandâs hospitals were being treated for coronavirus – the highest proportion on record. Separate data (top inset graph) also shows NHS hospitals across England and Wales are still recording hundreds of fewer deaths than expected each week. They havenât had any excess deaths – more fatalities than expected – since mid-May. The heat map shows how many patients were admitted to hospital in each of the different regions between September 20 and 26, while the graphs for each region show how many patients are currently in hospital with Covid-19 and how that has changed since the pandemic began.
Manchester United stroll into Carabao Cup quarter-finals with their second win at Brighton in a week with Scott McTominay and Juan Mata on target before Paul Pogbaâs deflected free-kick
BRIGHTON 0-3 MANCHESTER UNITED – SAMI MOKBEL AT THE AMEX STADIUM: This wasnât quite as heart-stopping or insane as Saturdayâs clash between these two teams but Manchester United will be perfectly comfortable with that. They are through to the EFL Cup quarter finals after recording their second win over Brighton in the space of five days. Juan Mata was the heartbeat of this comprehensive victory, setting up one before putting the finishing touch on quite exquisite team goal. And after the madness of what took place here at the Amex on Saturday afternoon, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer will have been happy for the easy ride. It was hardly vintage United. Equally, this wasnât a full strength United either. Nonetheless, the likes of Donny van de Beek and Eric Bailly will be better for this run out. As will Dean Henderson, whose reputation continues to grow following a second successive clean sheet in a United shirt.
From a terraced home in Blackburn to self-made billionaires on the brink of buying Asda: Rags-to-riches story of petrol station pioneer brothers, 48 and 49, bidding to bring supermarket giant back under British control
Mohsin Issa, 49, and his brother Zuber, 48, (left) whose parents came to Britain from India âwith nothingâ, built EG Group from one site bought for ÂŁ150,000 in 2001 into a ÂŁ9billion giant employing 44,000 staff. The brothers are now worth an estimated ÂŁ3.56bn, including a ÂŁ25m Kensington townhouse (top right) and a private jet that is kept in a hangar at Blackpool Airport alongside Donald Trumpâs personal helicopter. They are also building five identical mansions just three miles from the humble Blackburn two-up two-down where they were raised (bottom right). Inset is an image of an Asda store.
Lottery Strategies TO HELP YOU WIN Ireland Daily Million
Lottery numbers are randomly drawn. But randomly drawn numbers form patterns
that can be tracked and used to our advantage. Having carefully analyzed all the
drawings in past lotto results of more than 200 different lotto games worldwide, with
histories going back as far as 1955, we have verified the following incredibly
simple rule:
That which is MOST POSSIBLE happens MOST OFTEN.
That which is LEAST POSSIBLE happens LEAST OFTEN.
The key to Smart Luckâs successful lotto number selection methods is playing
the probabilities. If you play a pattern that occurs only five
percent of the time, you can expect that pattern to lose 95
percent of the time, giving you no chance to win 95 percent of
the time. So, donât buck the probabilities.
Rave of rebellion: Single superspreader is blamed for Swansea University outbreak after infecting 32 people at house party while Liverpool students host boozy halls bash – as infections sweep 47 campuses
Swansea University (inset) said the coronavirus-infected superspreader âcame from outside the area’ and attended a âparticular party’ sparking the outbreak. Even so, no formal quarantine measures in student halls – such as those seen in Manchester and Glasgow – have been introduced as the cases have not been linked to private accommodation blocks and not the universityâs campus. Liverpool John Moores Universityâs campus has also remained quarantine-free, despite footage of a huge booze-fuelled rave in an accommodation hall surfacing today. A group of students – some standing on furniture – were seen crowding together inside the universityâs Cambridge Court halls as they danced and sang along to Dizzee Rascal song Bonkers (main).

How to Get Lucky in Lotto
CASH IN ON THE LUCK OF OTHERS
When you form a Lotto pool, your group is also pooling its aggregate luck. A
jackpot could happen because of the luck just one member brings to your pool.
Select your partners carefully. Share your luck with winners, not losers. Avoid
negative people. Not only are they unlucky, but they dampen enthusiasm and drain
energy from others. You want to enhance your own luck, not dilute its strength. One
quick way to tell winners from losers is simply to ask them: “Do you think you
are a lucky person?” Many people quickly admit, “Iâm unlucky. I never win
anything.” They wonât bring good luck to your group either.
CASH IN ON A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
No one should play games of chance out of desperation because they need a
fast cash payout. The needy have a greater fear of losing the hard-earned money they gamble
with. It is just one of lifeâs dirty tricks that the very fear of losing blocks the
winning forces. Thoughts are charged with energy, especially when triggered by
emotion. Fear attracts exactly that which one fears. A strong desire for a goal
that is charged with positive energy, attracts a positive response, especially when
every effort is made to attain that goal.

World-renowned female powerlifter Anna Turaeva wins apology from airline after they refused to let her board a flight without proving she was a woman
Russian World champion powerlifter Anna Turaeva, 42 (pictured left with her dog, right in the gym and top-inset in a park) has spoken of her horror after airport security asked her to prove she was a women after they saw her gender listed on her passport. She said she was initially barred from flying with Russian airline Utair from St Petersburg to her home city Krasnodar via Moscow, because the security staff believed her to be a man. She said that after calmly explaining to the officials, she was eventually permitted to board, but has since struck out at the airline for how they treated her. The sportswoman has a string of records and medals representing her country, and is one of Russiaâs most famous powerlifters.
Sgt Ratana murder suspect âwas caught in school with an air gun’ as pictures emerge of him posing with a 5ft medieval SWORD after school friends said he was âgood with weapons’
Alleged gunman Louis De Zoysa, 23, remains in a critical condition after apparently blasting himself during a tussle with officers after Sgt Ratana was hit in the heart in the Croydon police station. These images of De Zoysa posing with a 5ft medieval sword emerged after claims from friends in his school leavers’ book that he was âgood with weaponsâ. And it came as further details were revealed about his life yesterday. One former classmate has claimed De Zoysa was caught with an air gun at school and would also surf the dark web and had an âanti-establishment attitudeâ. He excelled at the Catholic John Fisher School in Purley, south London, before studying mechanical engineering at University College London – where these images of him with the blade and shield were taken in 2017. Friends said he was very intelligent but dropped out after just a year.

Air hostess, 27, is jailed for 28 months after turning to cocaine dealing when she lost her job during the coronavirus crisis
An air hostess has been jailed for more than two years for drug dealing after turning to crime following the loss of her job during the coronavirus crisis. Alexandra Good (pictured), 27, who is thought to have worked for Ryanair and Wizz Air, had been based at London Luton Airport but was made redundant in the spring. She began a relationship with a man she met on a dating app and moved to Staffordshire, before agreeing to deliver cocaine after becoming short of cash. Staffordshire Police then stopped her grey Fiat Punto in Stoke-on-Trent on the night of August 7 this year and found six wraps of cocaine inside her purse. Neil Ahuja |, prosecuting, told Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court: âShe was evasive with the officers about where she was living.’ Police searched a flat in Hanley and came across 81 small snap-seal bags of white powder concealed in a bedside table, which tested positive for cocaine. Another six sealed bags of the class A substance were found. In total, the 19.4 grams had an estimated street value of between ÂŁ1,740 and ÂŁ2,610. Detectives also seized ÂŁ480 in cash, along with a mobile phone (all pictured, centre). Dobre pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
PETE JENSON: Ousmane Dembele has a reputation for loving video games and partying more than football… heâs a rare talent but do Manchester United REALLY want to take a risk on him?
PETE JENSON IN SPAIN:- If Manchester United go through with the loan signing of Ousmane Dembele (pictured in action last weekend, bottom right), theyâll be acquiring a player whose speed and two-footed talent make him unplayable when he is at his best. But they would also be getting someone whose dreadful luck with injuries (bottom left) make him a massive gamble. United need a forward and Barcelona have a surplus, including Antoine Griezmann (centre, with Dembele, and top right). Dembele is the one they would be happiest to lose – his three years at the club have so far have been a financial embarrassment for them and an endless slog of set-backs for him.
